Economic Empowerment for Women

The foundation recognizes the critical role women play in their families and communities. Our initiatives aim to.
  1. Provide economic empowerment opportunities for women through entrepreneurship training and microfinance initiatives.
  2. Promote women’s leadership and participation in the decision-making process.
  3. Address gender-based violence and promote women’s rights.

Education and Skills Development

We believe education is key to unlocking the potential of vulnerable children and women. Our initiatives focus on.
  1. Providing access to quality education for disadvantaged children.
  2. Offering vocational skills training for young mothers and women.

Social Protection and Welfare

We are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children. Our initiatives include.
  1. Providing shelter and care for abused, neglected, or orphaned children.
  2. Advocating for children’s rights and policy reforms.
  3. Strengthening community-based child protection system.

From combating child labor through education to empowering women and promoting gender equality, our programs have truly made a difference in the lives of those we serve since 2023.

THEMATIC AREAS OF OPERATION

Programs and Initiatives

Scholarships – Empowering Education.

We provide financial assistance to parents in rural schools. Currently, the foundation has over 22 beneficiaries in our partner schools of Mutai primary and Secondary schools. This initiative helps to bridge the education gap, fosters academic excellence, and unlocks the potential of future leaders.

School supply – Equipping Young Minds.

Since 2023, the foundation has provided essential scholastic materials to enhance learning opportunities for needy children. This initiative promotes educational equality, boosts confidence, and enhances the overall learning experience of students.

Mentorship program – Guiding Future Generations.

We connect schools with mentors who guide them through academic and personal development. This fosters personal growth builds resilience, and helps mentees make informed decisions about their future.

Vocational training and skills development – Unlocking Economic Potential.

Since 2023, we have offered vocational training and skills development programs, equipping women with practical skills and knowledge in trades such as tailoring, baking, bookmaking, hairstyling, and fashion design to secure employment, and self-sufficiency, in Jinja district.

Microfinance and small business support – Empowering Entrepreneurs.

Through our partners, the foundation facilitates access to small loans and business training that empower women to start and manage their enterprises. This initiative stimulates economic growth, creates employment opportunities, and enhances community development in Busoga region since 2023.

Leadership and advocacy workshops – Amplifying Voices.

We Conduct leadership and advocacy workshops, equipping individuals with the skills and confidence to become effective leaders and advocates for positive change. This initiative promotes community engagement, and social justice, and empowers individuals to make a meaningful impact in rural areas of Jinja district.
