Wanume Foundation for Child & Woman Protection is a Ugandan non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children and women. Founded in 2023, our mission is to provide comprehensive support, empowering our beneficiaries to overcome poverty, inequality, and social injustice.
We're committed to expanding our programs to reach more vulnerable populations, strengthening partnerships with local communities, organizations, and stakeholders, advocating for policy reforms and increased resource allocation for vulnerable children and women.

EventsOutside school programs, the foundation facilitates computer training for going and out-of-school children to equip them with relevant computer skills.
EventsTogether with our partners (CHC, and I4H), We have trained over 50 women on hands-on skills in baking, bookmaking, hairstyling, and fashion designing. We believe that empowering women creates ripple effects in the community.
EventsThe foundation has facilitated and been part of several community outreach and support. In 2023, the foundation was part of the Busoga Clean Initiative, and in Dec 2024, the foundation organized a Christmas bucket for its beneficiaries in Mutai village, Buwenge Sub-County.
